Waterproof trackers

I'm looking for a completely waterproof tracker with all of the features (sleep, heart rate, steps, stairs, miles, calories, reminder to move, phone alerts, clock with date, etc) all in one. When??  Please make this your next release!!!!!

No can do @Apenny620 waterproof means that it could withstand the pressure of the deepest ocean. Water resistent to 150 feet (Static test) means it is good for everyday swimming

I would love to buy an ALTA with swimming proof and HR features - Fitbit would kill the competition with a product like this one

I have an HR but I cannot swimm with that and it really sucks since I use to swim quite a lot beside my running and workout

The Flex2 is nice but too limited in terms of other features, the HR is missing and it is a significant downgrade from the one I have today

Currently using a Charge HR, but it is now on its last legs (sob). I love it and I want to upgrade to one of the newer models, however, I am being highly put off by the fact that it isn't waterproof. My main form of training is swim training, and currently, I am having to change between my Fitbit and my GPS watch. Although this isn't a massive issue, I would prefer all of my stats to be in one place, rather than on two separate apps. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make them waterproof so that I can train without having to switch watches.

Would be really nice to have a waterproof blaze!  I keep the competitor around just for when I swim.

I love my Charge HR.  I bought a Flex 2 specificaaly for swimming.  The Flex 2 is a nice device, but I much prefer my Charge HR.   I'd love to see a waterprof Charge 2.

Even the new Charge 2 is NOT waterproof, why not?

Every model should have a waterproof option; however, I would personally prefer the Fitbit Alta being waterproof since it is slim like the Flex 2. The Alta just seems so much better than the Flex 2. Or just combine the two and call it the Fitbit Altex. Looks identical to the Alta but has the features of both the Alta and Flex 2. That actually would be pretty cool.

I know this isn't really a new suggestion but it's an elaboration. Every model should have a waterproof option; however, I would personally prefer the Fitbit Alta being waterproof because I'm a swimmer and it is slim like the Flex 2. The Alta just seems so much better than the Flex 2. Or you guys should just combine the two and call it the Fitbit Altex. Looks identical to the Alta but has the features of both the Alta and Flex 2. That actually would be pretty cool. What do you guys think?

I know the technology is available and it is just silly that not all the wristbands are waterproof. some of us are swimmers and want to use fitbits!

I have had a Fitbit since 2012. I am a 54 year old competitive swimmer and swim 5 das a week for over an hour.  I currently wear the Charge 2 and LOVE IT, except for the lack of a swim functionality.  Swimming is my main form of exercise and I must take it if every day for my swim.   PLEASE make a Fitbit that includes swimming functionality (waterproof and lap counting at least).

Go to a website called waterfi. They sell waterproof Fitbit charge 2. You won't get laps, however. I swim with mine and get hr and no need to take off for a shower.

As one of the leading brands in fitness trackers, get on board with the waterproof fitness tracker. I have a Garmin Vivosmart which is perfect, waterproof up to 50 meters, slim design, and displays all information on the band including steps, calories burned, step goal, miles, and time. Good try with the Fitbit Flex 2 finally being swim proof, but it lacks the display features Garmin has had for years... If the Alta and Charge 2 were waterproof, you'd have a real steak in the market.

I had a Fitbit one for years that I wore on my bra but wanted to switch to a wrist model so I could use it as a watch. On my search I discovered a different brand called the MisFit which featured swim tracking! I do love it but most of my friends and family have fitbits so I miss the competitions we used to have! Would love to see the swimming feature on more of the Fitbit models and would quickly make the switch back.

Love my Charge HR but this is my second one and they may be water resistant but the wrist bands keep getting weird bubbles in them and the rubber skin starts to get loose. A full waterproof version would be the way to go for sure, swimming and stuff, then sign me up for another one.

I can't agree more! Now I have blaze which is my 3rd Fitbit! I love the challenge part, dashboard and friends area, but really considering to move towards apple watch... I have already tried Garmin Forerunner 225, which is waterproof, but it was a bit too bulky, so now rests in the draw. I do go swim at least one time every week, sometimes more, all this activity is lost for me, I am lazy to put my activities in manually, all I want is to pay money for the watch which will do all of it for me - my calories, heart rate, type of activity etc.

Among my friends out of Fitbit challenge group, we are few who are considering to move towards apple. Not so far ago I was considering to buy few more devices for my parents and extended family members, so we can have family challenge, but since I am not sure if I will stay withFitbitt, not doing it yet.

Please make the HR/Blaze/Surge waterproof!

The charge 2 from Waterfi is fully waterproof but will not track laps.

Do not like being forced to  pick a device based on one need (swimming).  Common sense and conventional protocol recommend including all features on lesser priced/fewer feature devices in more expensive and expansive devices.  Kinda like computers, software, cars,TVs, refrigerators, etc.  It cannot be that difficult to make all fitbit devices waterproof considering that swimming is the fifth most used form of exercise for men (fitbit), or the number of people lnvolved in Triathlons, Cross-fit games, Spartan games, mud runs, swimming, boating, skiing, and surfing.  Then there are old folk (like me) who want to stay in shape but must do so in a low impact way, and also have grandkids that enjoy water in the summer.  I know we are not the target market, but our demographics are growing and many of us have disposable income for such gadgets.  C'mon guys, get it done!

It would be awesome if the Blaze was waterproof. I don't understand how Apple can be so far ahead of the curve on this waterproof/HR thing and Fitbit is so far behind. The Flex 2 is nice for a waterproof option, but I like the full watch face and notifications. I don't want to jump ship on Fitbit because I really like the competition part of it, but I need a waterproof option. I am a lifeguard/water aerobics instructor and it would be nice to have that Blaze functionality in the water. Time to get with the times, Fitbit! You're falling desperately behind.

I have the Surge and I love the fact the built in GPS means I can leave my phone at home and just run, however when the new version come out - which I hope comes soon with the screen I see on Charge 2 etc - that you add waterproofing.

It seems counter intuative to call it multi-sport and then only have 1 device that allow for swimming. I'd love to use my Fitbit for Trialthons but I have to leave it a home becuase I can't swim with it.

Having spent £200 on the best Fitbit have to offer I don't want to have spent another £70 to get another product just for swimming, plus then have to deal with syncing my Surge, swapping device, swim, then synce another device, then swap back.

Please can you response this ASAP!

I engage in many active water sports, including stand up paddling and surfing and would like to track those activities with a tracker with features such as the Surge.  How about it fitbit?

This has been implemented. It's the flex 2!

I think we'd like the option on any of the fitbit watches, not just 1 option.
