Here is my vote for a weather app on the Charge 5. It is something I would use multiple times a day. It was the number one used app on my previous Samsung fitness band.
Adding my vote for the weather app on the charge 5. I had the Charge 3 and I miss that app - definitely a downgrade (including the lack of screen options)
When I ordered the Charge 5 I figured that that since I had a Charge 4 that the same features would be in the 5 plus new ones. I am so disappointed that the Weather feature wasn't there. Now after over a year it' still not available even though many, many users have requested it be added. Please this was so useful and saves time not having to stop and pull out my phone and open the weather app that is on it. Anything you can do to get this done ASAP would be so appreciated.
I bet it's not going to happen. Likely a business decision, not a technical decision. I have a few reminders set prior to the expiration of my free trial of the service. I'll cancel then and go back to Garmin. I'm not happy about it, but it was a good experiment. I learned a few things. Sometimes learning ain't cheap.
I'm with the rest of the comments. Loved this on my C4. Extremely disappointed when I realized it is not available on the newer, upgraded C5. How on earth do you remove features from the new one. It should have more, not less.
Does anyone from Fitbit or Google read these posts? It would be nice to have response from them. What would we need to do to stimulate this type of update for the Charge5?
I am really bummed about this . Does anyone from Fitbit or Google read these? What else can we do to assure tis is fixed?
I am not happy that there is no weather app on the change 5. I older different watch with different app. It had weather. Please add weather on the fitbit.
I bet it's a business decision. The Charge is in a fitness tracking category, not a smart watch category. They have to draw the line somewhere between the different models. As I've said before, I really like the fit and finish and profile of my charge, but lack of weather, and the useless stress sensor, have me looking forward to the end of my free trial. I will go back to Garmin. Much better software over there.
Please add a weather app to the Charge 5. I had it on my Galaxy Fit2 and it was one I used frequently and finding it not an option on the Charge 5 is a big disappointment.
I’m truly confused as why this comment forum has been open for two years and there’s still no weather app! Surely this is not a big lift for a Fitbit developer to take on. I love my Charge 5, but even cheapo and lesser quality devices have this functionality. Fitbit, are you listening to your users??
Yeah. I’m sure they’re listening. And thinking buy the sense of you want the weather app. I wish I had done more digging before purchase the charge 5. If I’m giving the price for the sense , I’ll go with the Apple Watch. Ridiculous.

Is there any point in adding my plea to have a weather app for the Charge 5; this discussion has been going on for years and yet still no weather app? I've just replaced my Charge 3 with the Charge 5. Before buying, I checked to see what features it had, forgot to check what it didn't have. Sooo disappointed when I discovered I could no longer check the weather instantly and quickly without having to find my phone. I used to use the app at least once a day, often more. Please release a weather app for the Charge 5.
