YouTube Music App

It's been almost a month now and a huge product like the Fitbit has only a couple of apps, and one music app. So I was hoping you guys can add the YouTube Music app, since it allows access to a huge selection of music videos and audios. Also the app have 100 song downloaded for offline use. It chooses them based on your taste and updates them every now and then.

+1 For adding Youtube Music as an app to my charge 4, I dont use Spotify so that option is essentially useless for me.

Oh please, this would be amazing and is the deciding factor in why I have to get a samsung watch instead of a fitbit this time!

Well for me it's very clear that you after all this time and requests to add it to the Fitbit are not going to do this in the near future. I'm now at the moment to replace my Fitbit Versa for another smart watch. Apple has more connection to music then Fitbit at this time. The Apple Watch SE is a good start to get the music on my wrist again and including a lot of smart sporting apps.

You are now part of the Google family as Youtube is but are not very interested to share this with us(your consumers) by creating an Youtube Music app. That is sad and so I'll going to leave Fitbit after a lot of fine years.

Please add this 😞 as a paying subscriber of YouTube music and Fitbit being in the Google family now and getting Google Assistant, it seems like a natural evolution.

Requiring a paid subscription to use Spotify totally ruins that app. Do we have any hope at all?

Google searching for an app to control my music through the Sense brought me here. Please add this.

It's so sad that this thread was started in 2017 and here we are in 2020 still asking for the same thing. I am an Android lover, however since Google has begun their takeover... I'm beginning to hate Android as much as I hate Apple

Hi @Fitnessqueer1, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see YouTube Music App on Fitbit Sense. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.

Please add Youtube music / google music (I know google music is going away) I have youtube music with my google premium account and have no use for spotify / pandora, the one other music thing you have on the Fitbit Sense.

This has been "under construction" for years now. They don't actually mean
it.

It's "under consideration" not "under construction" and this tag has been changed fairly recently.

How about you go read the comments back a few years?

Sorry for confusion. I can see for someone new to Fitbit that "fairly recently" can be like 2 months. I'm long time user (over 5+ years) and had been waiting for some of the features over 3 years. But the first rule on any electronics is: "Never buy it based on future promises but based on current features!". Maybe if Google buys Fitbit we will see this feature be implement in the future.
