YouTube Music App

It's been almost a month now and a huge product like the Fitbit has only a couple of apps, and one music app. So I was hoping you guys can add the YouTube Music app, since it allows access to a huge selection of music videos and audios. Also the app have 100 song downloaded for offline use. It chooses them based on your taste and updates them every now and then.

I know this is an old consideration, but I'm ride or die by YouTube music. While a lot of the independent artists are on Spotify, my YouTube plan gives me more features overall and I'm not giving that up, or paying for two music subscriptions. 

I would love to use my verse 2 to it's full capacity, but I can't without YT Music. 

Please consider.

Can someone from Fitbit team help us to understand why this feature is not added yet?,

This becomes normal benefit from other products "non-Fitbit" and as Jogger it is main function to get music/ Podcast away from the mobile while walking!

Don't get me wrong I love Spotify, but having more than one GOOD music app is handy. I prefer to go to whatever music app will give me the best deal's so I travel around a lot. I loved Spotify, but my deal time ran out, and I payed for one more month then YouTube music handed me a deal. Spotify is my favorite, but when another place hands me a deal how can I say no. I like to have option's, and as good as Spotify is being my favorite for now I am on YouTube music as that is where the best deal is... I just wish my Fitbit was compatible with it too like it was with Spotify. I miss controlling my music with my watch... maybe someday I will again, but for now I just went for the deals. I hope someday Fitbits will be compatible with multiple services so that you can choose witch one you want, and switch when something changes or comes up without you having to lose your Fitbit control over your music.

It's shocking that after 4 years, fibit has yet to introduce another music app onto fibit. YouTube music is dominating music streaming and it is apparently that many would choose this over Spotify. Also, since YouTube and fibit are under Google, could the team work to make this happen?

Yes it would be greatly appreciated if there was a Youtube music app on the Versa Series as well as having the controls on it to.

Isn't Fitbit a Google owned product? How can it have Spotify and not Google music? That's counterintuitive.

This request has been going on for a while, why isn't it a thing yet? I'd totally get a more advanced Fitbit if it offered YouTube. The least the Fitbit can do is update us on why/why not/when this will happen.

Has there been any developments on this feature? 1k votes for YT Music seems like a good number  to at least get a quick steer 😊 It'd be great to allow other music apps to have control apps on fitbit, especially with some artists going walkabout from Spotify 😅

And I smell it is intentionally, to diminish Fitbit brand and direct
customers to new google products!

I used to have Google Play Music who forced users to move to YouTube music if users wanted to keep their library, like others I don't want to move to Spotify but would be good to be able to access my YouTube playlist on my fitbit

I'm surprised that with Google buying Fitbit that YouTube Music isn't available on here already.  I would really love to see it on here.  I pay for youtube music, I am most definitely not using a different service.

Not sure why we don't have youtube music on fitbit yet.  Original request is 2018.  Doesn't Google own Fitbit?  Seems like this is a no brainer.

This thread is more than 3 years old. No reason that hasn't happened yet especially since both fitbit and YouTube have the same parent company.

I have a new Fitbit that I thought would allow listening to music while I work, but there's is no YouTube Music, which I already pay for, and I'm uninterested inswitching to premium accounts with Spotify,Pandora,or Deezer. This has been suggested for years now, I see, and no answers and no new news. I thought Fitbit was friendly toward Google stuff. What's up?
