Is anyone else having issues with their app freezing when they go to check their workout/run? I can’t access the heart rate, or maps ect. This just started today. I’m on vrs 4.04. It starts to open the section then it won’t let me scroll, go back, edit, or check the hidden menu. I have to close the app every time. My iPhone is up to date.
I have to agree. I haven't had the Versa 4 for a week yet (though I have had Versa 2 and several Charges) and nothing but problems. NOW.....the heart rate is stuck at 50. Even when on the treadmill. On the other hand, the android phone app is picking it up!!! At a loss....
Best AnswerI agree. I will follow for a fix. My HR is accurate on the android phone app though. Stuck at 50 on my Versa 4.
Best AnswerI have an iPhone and, no, re-downloading app did not help. I have given up on Fitbit and use Map My Walk. 😥
Best AnswerNot fixed by 04/22/24
Best AnswerStill not working! I’m returning my Charge 6 and getting an Apple Watch

It’s started to freeze this week for me, never had problem but now can’t see my runs …. I’ve tired everything, log out, uninstall, turn off my phone, watch, nothing. I’ll buy a Garmin by the end of next month if it’s not resolve… fitbit app is so bad

Yep, now me too on a charge 5. All aspects of my phone and app are on versions they should be but map no longer loads. Walk 3rd May is fine, those from yesterday and today not so. Intensely frustrating and not what you'd expect from a company of this size. Why am I paying you £7.99 a month for premium when something now 6 months old cannot be fixed?
Same! I first noticed it in December, but I wasn’t really doing any outdoor cardio so ignored it. Now the weather is nicer, I’m heading back outdoors again and it would be nice to be able to see my exercise activity!
I’ve tried the usual uninstall/reinstall, clear cache, etc. nothing works! App just freezes whenever I open up an exercise activity.
For me it is clearly linked to the GPS and maps. As soon as I open an activity with the map symbol next to it the app will freeze no matter what. It does not matter which GPS mode I use, although as Charge 6 owners already noticed the built in GPS is spotty
I have a Versa 2. I now start the exercise from the watch instead of the app. It seems to work now most of the time.
Best AnswerWhen is this likely to be fixed. I have not been able to access my exercise data for months now. Every time I try and open an exercise with a map the whole thing freezes/crashes and I have to reopen my app. This makes my watch useless to me.
My watch stopped working so I have a new watch under warranty. I also have a new iPhone. So it’s definitely the Google software that’s a problem.
Best AnswerSeveral months later and STILL is not fixed. Clearly not a “personal problem” as at least one person was told since there are so many of us!! One thing I can say to help everyone though, go to your Fitbit dashboard online and the info actually shows up. Funny that the dashboard online tries to get you to switch over to the app, and I always yell to my phone “Why would I do that, it’s broken on the app!!!??!” Lol. But at least you can see the charts and data on the online version, so everyone knows. Login with your Fitbit ID and password and go to the Dashboard. But yeah, doesn’t look like they care to fix the app. What a pain. I will choose something not Fitbit for my next watch since they don’t care to fix issues.
Oh drat! In what way didn’t it work? Were you not able to log in to the online dashboard? Or could you not find the exercise there? Or did the exercise on the dashboard not show the info? When I log in it tries to send me to the app so I have to say no and stay on the online version. Make sure you don’t let it kick you back to the app.
