Is anyone else having issues with their app freezing when they go to check their workout/run? I can’t access the heart rate, or maps ect. This just started today. I’m on vrs 4.04. It starts to open the section then it won’t let me scroll, go back, edit, or check the hidden menu. I have to close the app every time. My iPhone is up to date.

Been following this thread for almost a year now. If indeed the bug has been fixed it was certainly too late for me. I returned my Charge 6 and swapped to Garmin 2 months ago. I never believed the stories in otherwise reputable industry press that Google would wilfully aim to strangle Fitbit to kill it off in favour of other devices. I do now. For how else could it take one of the world’s biggest tech companies a year to (maybe) fix a fatal bug to a simple activity tracker?

Good move. There has been some improvement but not totally fixed. I feel it’s a nudge to get me to update. Are you happy with your garmin?

have had problems with both exercise and food entries. just noting that as one issue gets fixed they create another problem.

I updated and the issue was resolved for me! The app does not freeze anymore and I’m able to see all run stats - Map, pace splits, elevation, zone info, etc. This only was resolved when the web version of the dashboard went away and I was forced to only use the app.

Good news concerning my app. I now have version 4.21. It appears to be working. I select an exercise with GPS data, and it doesn't freeze. I am understandably gun shy that this may be a fleeting moment, here today, gone tomorrow, but for now it looks good and I sure hope it keeps working. Thanks Fitbit team, I guess our messages really did get through and you figured it out.

Nothing I do is fixing this issue for me. I have the latest version. I migrated my account to Goggle. I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice. Completely rebooted phone after removing and reinstalling. Nothing. I cannot look at the details of ANY exercise I log. The app actually crashes. The only thing I can think of is that about 2 months ago I upgraded from the Versa 2 to the Versa 4 but I cant say for sure when I started experiencing this problem.
Edit: Additional information, I have the iPhone 15
Edit: Also crashes on my iPad

This has been going on for months, and with you removing the ability to access the dashboard via an online web browser, there is zero use out of the Fitbit app. We, active people, like to see how we did on our runs or other activities. The basic reason we use the app. I and others have poured hundreds or thousands of dollars into Fitbit products and subscriptions, and the core feature of your product, doesn’t work. It’s completely unacceptable. You should issue recalls for all products, and issue a refund for all premium subscription to your “loyal” community, it’s literally on its last breathe before we all move elsewhere
