Hi,
I thought of generating a settings page where the user would be allowed to preview the changes to the watchface instead of displaying them on-demand onto the watch. Does this goes against Fitbit's guidelines?
According to the documentation, it appears the jsx settings page is a bit limited in terms of elements can be added, I guess the only way I could potentially offer a Preview would be via images... thoughts?

I've published a few clockfaces and apps that use images to indicate settings (eg, for background textures). Yes, there aren't many options.
The images I used were 'static' pre-prepared files. It might be possible to compose a custom image file in the companion/settings, but I doubt it would be worth the effort.

So it is expected for the user to use the Companion App and immediately see the effects of their pick on the watchface. It sounds like it is rather rare to see Companion Apps previewing user changes prior to sending them to the watch, correct @Gondwana ?
