Hi,
Does someone know if there is an official procedure to get your clock face approved for AOD? And is there a list or of basic tips to save energy?..
Kind regards,
Robert

The announcement blog post covers the highlights of things you need to do, but we're not currently accepting more developers at this time.

Thank you. Are we able to utilize AOD on our personal devices with the SDK, or do we need to be in the program to do so? I am looking into purchasing a Versa 2.

Unapproved AOD clockfaces can't be installed on any phyical devices (including personal ones). This is to avoid inadvertent hardware damage.

Thank you. I guess that makes sense. You could impose rules to enforce safe protocols, (Android Wear did that with their original Always on Displays like the Sony), but that would probably lead to a lot more questions like my other one about apps not working properly.
