Problems with BART SDK Sample Code

I have some problems to get the BART Fitbit SDK sample code to work properly on my Fitbit Ionic device.
I have added an icon (icon.png) under resources. But other than that, to my knowledge, I havn't modified any of the original code.
When running BART from FitBit Studio using the FitBit OS Simulator on my Windows 10 computer everything works fine.
When running BART from FitBit Studio using the FitBit App on my Windows Mobile Lumia 950XL by using the Developer Bridge both on my Luma 950XL and on my Ionic device a few times it has worked fine but mostly I get stuck at the BART message saying "Please check connection to phone and FitBit App".
I removed the sideloaded BART from my Ionic and then installed BART from the link above. When starting BART I have never got by the BART messaging saying "Please check connection to phone and FitBit App".
My question is how do I make BART work on my Ionic?
