Hi @hlm14  no, Windows app for Fitbit has been discontinued. You need a compatible smartphone or tablet.

Not as easy to use.

@hlm14it's not quite the same, I agree, but it's all we have to use. Some functions of the online dashboard still work, but not as many as over a year ago.

How incredibly DUMB.  Fitbit is owned by Google now. Google is the most popular browser for Windows. I do not own a SmartPhone, I don't have much of a need for a SmartPhone, Idon't want to pay for a SmartPhone and cell service, I don't want a SmartPhone bothering me. And my Fitbit is nearly useless without an App. When necessary and convenient I do use an Android Tablet over WiFi but I don't care to be tied to that either. What is wrong with Google's Fitbit software people? Are they just plain too lazy to provide something people need and want? Does anyone want to buy a couple of used Fitbits?

Hi @Odyssey13. Just got started with Fitbit last month (Jan 2025). It's really disappointing that Google got rid of the Windows 11 desktop app as that would be very useful. Can I put in a "feature request" to add back app capability for Win11. Cheers.

Hi @Mr.Blair  the place to put it is the Product Feedback section, which used to be the Feature Request area of the forum. You might want to check to see if anyone has previously requested it. Truthfully, I don't see it returning. They removed it bit by bit until it was no longer there, so it wouldn't make sense to return it unless it was completely revamped. Most people these days don't use a desktop, but they use a tablet or their cell phone. I prefer my desktop computer, which is how I access these forums.

And I am on a desktop right now.

Apparantly not.

I just bought a Fitbit watch and scale.  They are 2 days old and are going in the garbage.  I'm now looking for a fitness tracker with a Win 11 dashboard. Anybody have any reccomendations?

This has nothing to do with the SDK. You will get more relevant visibility by posting in a more appropriate section of the forum.

Hi @fitbust75 - the fitbit.com dashboard was one of the best features of the Fitbit brand in the smartwatch market for those with no phone or accessibility issues. Unfortunately Google decided to abandon support for it leaving those who preferred or depended on it without the feature.

For those who do have phones, they don't have all the features that were available on the PC dashboard anymore either.

You should be able to get a refund for your devices.
