App not syncing with watch

My fitbit watch is tracking my activity like usual. Unfortunately, this data is not being uploaded to my app despite daily manual syncs. My watch could have tracked 6 days of activity in a week and my app won't have logged anything.

I'm having to manually log my activities in my app which defeats the purpose of the tracker! And also adds steps to my daily counter on top of my actual steps!

Any help would be appreciated!

my fitbit sense 2 also seems to have a similar issue - my mobile in my app will not syncing.  I keep pressing the button, but i keep getting this exclamation icon - the only thing i can do, is totally reboot the mobile.  Then it will sync, but dont really want to do this every other hour?  Driving me crazey......
