Can’t Add Capital One Cards to Sense 2

I can add other banks card, none of my Cap1 cards (credit or debit) will add. I’ve read other old threads and followed all of the suggested steps, still no go😕

I click on Add to watch, Google Pay opens, cards are listed, select a card. Takes me to Confirm card details, enter CVC, continue takes me to a Contacting your bank screen, Accept bank terms, goes to Processing card, get bouncing balls and then a window pops up stating We need to setup your card again, Sorry, we need you to enable payment for your card again. Click OK, takes me to Fitbit Google Wallet screen other cards and the Cap1 card are listed. Cap1 card says Verification required, tap on that card, next screen shows card details and msg Card not setup, For your security your bank wants to make sure this card is yours, with an active Finish setup link. Tap link, get msg that We need to setup your card again, with the Sorry bla bla bla . . .

What next???

Same issue. I tried to follow the steps here, and called Capital One customer service to purge the existing security token. After 15 minutes and 2 separate reps, I was told Capital One customer service agents no longer any access or manual control options for adding cards to Apple Pay, Google Wallet, etc.

@Ciret7 and @wonderbreadhz are you using the Capital One mobile app to manage your credit cards? When I added my Capital One card, I got a message in the Fitbit app that I needed to verify my request. The Capital One app auto-launched and asked for my password for that app. Then I got a big check mark and the card was added to my Fitbit.

Yep, I’m using the mobile app. But there’s no launch-to-verify process that’s executing for me. See screen cap of my FitBit wallet manager—when I tap “Finish setup,” I just get that pop-up. I have multiple cards with CapOne and the same thing happens with each. 😞

@wonderbreadhz have you enabled Google Wallet for your accounts on the Capital One website? I don't think there is a way to do this in their mobile app, but I had to do that a while ago to get Google Wallet to work.

Capital One is just really tough to deal with for mobile payments. If you Google "Capital One security breach", you'll get an idea of why they are like this. It's still frustrating.

What's next? Don't use the Capital One card (or any other card for that matter.) That's my opinion & I'm entitled to it & this not in violation of the Community Forum Guidelines.
