That started after update. I just do little warm up and watch say: Elliptical auto detected start exercise? I got annoyed and even went to the app and turned auto-detect for elliptical off. And my watch still keeps doing it.
Today I really smashed it against the wall! Looks alright I don't need a replacement.
Any idea what to do?

Solution found. On device we go to 'Excursive' -> 'Elliptical' scroll down to 'Auto Start' and turn it off.

Welcome back to the Fitbit Community, @Fitbit19972.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation with your Sense 2 tracking automatically your workout as if it were elliptical.
I recommend you to restart your Sense 2 to make sure everything is set up okay. I also recommend you to check these tips to make sure your activity is tracked accurately.

Sounds like the new update introduced a few new exercises for auto recognition. But it’s not really accurate. Hope next firmware update will fix it.

@Fitbit19972 Fitbit added this same feature to the rowing and spinning shortcuts. You might want to disable them, too. The accelerometer sees what it sees. Some movement patterns might auto start a different exercise.
