HRV is not recording. Support's only suggestion was to do a factory reset losing all my parameters and a lot of data. Very disappointing. It seems to be their answer to everything. This watch is a DOWNGRADE on the old Sense by the way.

Hi Ze1, any luck with getting your HRV back? Doing a factory reset (Update, Restart, and Erase) will clear all your personalised settings on your Sense 2, but all synced data will still be visible on your Fitbit app.

What do you see on Health Metrics? Is the HRV graph just blank? Do the other metrics display correctly?
I should note that the HRV recorded on my Fitbit Sense 2 (and the previous Versa 3) seems either incredibly inaccurate or else I'm near death. I have tested my HRV using a Polar H10 chest strap plus the EliteHRV app and my HRV is normal for a person of my age and gender. Therefore, I no longer really pay attention to the HRV score on Fitbit; I don't think they put much attention into that metric, unfortunately.

Compared against my polar H10, my Inspire HR that is literally corroding at the charging points, gives a significantly more accurate reading than the Sense 2. Good stuff.

Note that, with a factory reset, you do not lose all of your settings. You do lose access to Fitbit pay (easy enough to reestablish) and to Alexa (very easy to restart this), but I think that's it. All of your preferences about what is turned on and off seem to be recorded at Fitbit, so they are not lost. At least, that's been my experience. I think I did lose one thing that was weird though: it reset my Active Zone Minutes to the previous value (I had recently increased it); that was easy to retype though. So, I know it's been a few days, but if you have not gotten a fix yet and want to try a reset, I'd go ahead and do it. Be sure to Sync the watch before doing it though.

Reset is located in Settings. Swipe down to reach Settings. Scroll to Factory Reset. It seems scary but it really isn’t.
