How is this STILL not fixed in 2025?? Sleep Mode + DND bug...

Woke up randomly with my Fitbit is stuck in Sleep Mode AND Do Not Disturb at the same time, and neither one will turn off.

• Sleep Mode says "locked for Do Not Disturb"

• DND says "locked while in Sleep Mode"

Both selected, locking each other out. Nothing works.

Only "fix" people claim is a factory reset, which is ridiculous.

And this isn't new - it's been happening for YEARS:

• 2023 - Sense 2 stuck on Sleep + DND:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Sense-2/Sense-is-stuck-on-sleep-and-DND-mode/td-p/5517591

• 2023 - Reddit thread same issue:

Why is this STILL happening in 2025? How does a bug this basic go unfixed for multiple product generations?

What's worse is people have reached out to Fitbit support about this. So the issue is known and still not fixed.

Can we PLEASE get this fixed???

From clock face, scroll up to Quick Settings. If half moon (sleep mode) is lit, tap it to turn it off.  That should also turn off DND.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @nstarr2 - you are right this lockout is a known issue with the watch firmware.

And you right the remedy is usually a factory reset to clear the firmware bug.

Can you confirm which version you are currently on.

There are several ways to control sleep mode for the watch (manual and automatic).

Have you tried restarting both the watch and phone to ensure good syncing and syn manually.

Then in the Fitbit app changing your sleep times to include the current time and syncing, and restarting the watch.

Then reversing the situation to exclude current time in sleep mode and syncing again, and also restarting.

It's possible that the Fitbit app can unlock if it's not severely blocked.
