Is there a way to see notifications right away on Sense 2?

I've been using a versa 1 for the last few years, and I love how fast the notifications are. is there a way to limit the splash screen of the app when you get a notification and to have a proper notification preview without having to interact with the watch? I don't need many "smartwatch" features, but I do need to see my notifications at a glance when it vibrates.

Hi @ChrisChad.

From my experience if a notification comes in, I raise my wrist to wake the screen and the notification opens automatically. Is this not the case for you?

I agree that the whole process is unnecessarily slow though with all of the animations and notification logo. Unfortunately I haven't managed to find any way to disable that.

Is this really not customizable? 

I have just ordered one and it was supposed to be an improvement over my miband but tbh that sounds like a major annoyance that is not worth it for the device that's almost tenfold the price.
