Have you tried a soft reset of the watch?

I actually had to do a factory reset so I don't think it's that. I've been through so many setting suggestions on the fitbit, fitbit app, AND my phone. I feel like there must be one that I haven't tried yet but idk

I am having the same problem. The microphone worked for only a short period of time. I got my watch in May. I have been in contact with Fitbit but I'm getting the same response from them: wait and see we are working on a fix. I'm thoroughly disgusted with this response and told them I am extremely disappointed that they are not standing behind their products.

I so FINALLY got it to work last night. I went onto my phone settings. Typed in microphone in settings. Allowed permissions on there. Then went to my phone settings, apps, fitbit, and added permissions. Then restarted the fitbit app and shut down and restarted the fibit and it worked. Also make sure on the actual fitbit swipe to settings, microphone, enable. And make sure phone isn't in sleep or do not disturb mode. There is also permissions in the fitbit app for push notifications that have to be toggled. Ughhhh what a pain!!!!
