My Sense 2 does not keep the brightness adjustment

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing good, please help, I just bought a Sense 2 and the brightness will not change, sleep mode is off and no matter what I do it will not change, I hit max brightness and it blinks bright and immediately goes back to dim???

The Sense 2 has automatic brightness- it adjusts to ambient light. The normal/ max setting just means what the brightest it will get.

I hope you are enjoying all the great features that come with your brand new Fitbit Sense 2. 

In this case, I'd like to add that the Always On Display mode might be affecting the screen brightness. This feature dims the screen significantly without turning it off completely.
