New Sense 2- Not Charging

Hello, I have a new device and put it on the charger straight out of the box.  The Fitbit logo came up and then that was it.  Can't get it to turn on, sync - nada.  Do I have a bum device and need to send back?  Or ??  If send back, who do I contact?

Hi @BABFUN - watches can play dead.

First hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

If it is truly uncharged try using another power source and check the cable prongs for slight differences.

Place on charge for 10 minutes several times.

Eventually it can be replaced where you bought it or you can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.

Thank you.  I have been able to get it to vibrate and logo will come up but nothing will happen after that.  I just tried it again and god the logo and a big red X and then it went off.  I have it back on the charger but I am afraid I am going to have to send it back 🙄

I'm having pretty much the same problem. The thing won't charge. I have changed charging connections so many points and thought I had success then I  was no further than I was when I started. What good is an expensive device that is unreliable? I wish I would done more research before wasting my money.

New cables can be had under warranty and it the watch is faulty it too can be replaced.

Thanks. I will check for those issues. I've had it on charge for a couple days and it vibrates, but, when I check there's no progress or the charge has dropped below what it had previously achieved. Aggravation and unusable.

Mine is not brand new. Bought December last year. start using this March. A few days ago, it can't be charged or start.

Hi @yan2131 - the watch is under warranty so you can get a replacement charge cable, if that is the issue (See earlier post).

But just in case hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

You can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
