I've had my Sense 2 for 4 days now. It recorded my sleep fine each night and it recorded a nap I took the first day. But since then it has missed two naps. One was short, maybe 30 minutes, and one was over an hour. I have restarted the app and the Sense 2 and that didn't fix it. Any other suggestions?
Fitbit is not expected to automatically recognize sleep sessions of less that an hour, and it takes 3 hours to get sleep stages. One way you can get credit for shorter naps is to use the "Begin Sleep Now" and "I'm Awake" buttons. From the Sleep tile on phone app, then + plus sign at top right. But these are not recommended for general night's sleep as they prevent getting sleep stages and sleep score.

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @eclectictrish!
You might want to change the setting for sleep sensitivity to check if that will improve sleep tracking for you. Please have a look at 'What's the difference between the normal and sensitive sleep setting?' following the link I've provided below to see how that's done:
How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
Best AnswerThanks for the link. Strangely, my Fitbit doesn't have the sensitive/normal setting shown or the sleep insights option mentioned either. At least not in the location shown in the article. I have a Sense 2 but it seems to have little differences from almost every article I've read.

Thanks for your feedback, @eclectictrish.
Please try changing the setting for sleep sensitivity on your Fitbit.com dashboard as described here:
Best AnswerI found it. On mine, it's gear icon then scroll down to app settings. It's under there.
At first, I thought I was missing features but I'm realizing mine is just set up differently from the help files. It did an update the first time I started it, so hopefully I have the current version.
Thanks again for your help.

Best AnswerIf I use the "Begin now" button for a nap that is anticipated < 1 hr, but I don't fall asleep, will the fitbit recognize this and show it as awake time?
I took a nap today, did not know about this "Begin now" button, it was <1 hr, so nothing was recorded. But I may have taken > 10 or 20 min to fall asleep, and after I woke up, I didn't really realize how long I was awake (but not sure if Fitbit would know this either, as it seems quite crude). If it would have recorded the entire time as sleep it would not be useful.

I think it will know but not guaranteeing. For the shorter times, I'm not really sure if it might also rely on movement. Another thing you can do is go back into Sleep tile and manually add sleep log for the approx time you hoped to nap, and see if if breaks the actual sleep time out of that. That is actually another way you can log shorter naps, too, but seems easier to me is capture as it happens, as long as you remember.
