7/13 Update: We’re continuing to roll out this firmware for the Sense 2 Firmware Update 194.61, and expect more customers are able to update their devices. This is a progressive rollout and all customers can expect to have it within a few weeks. We release updates in phases so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed. If you don't see the option to update, don't worry - you'll have it soon!
We’re excited to announce that a firmware update version 194.61 for Sense 2 will be available soon! Some of you might already have this update available. If you installed it, let us know what you think!
We release updates to customers in phases. If you don’t see it, check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for keeping me posted on your Sense 2, and every step that you've tried. As mentioned before, our team is aware of the syncing and heart rate tracking issues experienced after the firmware update. Currently I don't have more details, but rest assured our team is working to get this resolved soon.
@Paulh2 Thanks for joining this thread. I noticed you already opened a case with our Support team and they provided you with assistance. Should you have any questions about your case or their resolution, please reply back to them.
@Sworldtech2020 By working device, do you mean that your watch isn't turning on? Do you see a green light on the back? If you haven't done so, please try restarting your watch and changing the clock face to see how it goes.

Hi @LizzyFitbit, still I don’t have the Firmware upgrade for my Sence 2. Can i force the upgrade?

From what I'm seeing and understanding is that they possibly stopped the rollout of the upgrade for the Sense 2 due to all the issues. Once they fix it, they will let people know again.

@LizzyFitbit would be nice if a moderator would come in and give us an update. As it's been a substantial amount of time and nobody is saying anything. I think I speak on behalf of most of the people in this forum when I say that we are all very upset and waiting for some sort of an answer. Please respond.

Yes, @LizzyFitbit please give us a update. I am assuming that Fitbit has now "pulled" the update for the Sense 2, Versa 4 and Charge 5 becuae there are so many people seeing the issue.
A friend of mine that has a Charge 5 and he had issues after he updaded and so did someone I know who has a Sense 2.
Let's be open and and honest about what is going on....

I've never seen so much whining. Lizzy gave an update JUST THREE DAYS AGO. And another one just a week before that. Maybe get some glasses and then try reading it. It's right there.

There are thousands of Sense 2 users. A very small number got a bad update, now delayed, now being worked on. Such is the case of ANY untested software. I work in audio and tech. If I install new software or firmware, my literal income is on the line. That means not updating As Fast As Humanly Possible. If you depend on a similar way on smartwatch functionality, deal with the "annoying banner" and a functional firmware. Complaining gets users nowhere, but venting might be what some users are into.
Thanks for the updates @LizzyFitbit

@nerB like you, I worked in telecoms and computing all my working life. If any of my networks, or any of the computer systems were down because of an update then it would have been a disaster. We had to do major testing before we implemented any updates. Pity Fitbit doesn't test even a small amount.
@LizzyFitbit thanks for the update information so far.

True enough about "the network going down" but I think since update rollout was paused and most users are without the update bugs, we might state "the network is still up, but more work is needed until finished this current job".
Bugs happens, pauses in rollout happen. It can be definitely truly annoying for the users impacted (see this thread) but it's not too dire. There are well explained workarounds to get back to the prior versions. Seems okay to me. Yes, unfortunate user experience for a few, I agree there.

Hi-
is there a way to rollback the update so that my device will work properly? Currently I lose all of exercise data if I sync.

Since the latest update , nothing works like it used to be. I have constantly disconnected or set it back to factory settings to get it sync. Most of the time it just drops my burned calories. Anyone else is experience this issue. I’m super annoyed about it cause I can’t relay on my numbers anymore ,if I’m lucky enough that the app and phone sync. Can this pls be fixed. Thank you!

Hello @LizzyFitbit - Are there any plans to add auto-pause for any exercise activity on the Sense 2? It's a very basic feature that I had on my previous Versa 2... Blaze 2.... even my Microsoft Band 2. Not sure how this was missed for the Sense 2. It's annoying to have to manually pause/resume each time I'm cycling and have to stop/resume and often forget.

I’ve had my Fitbit sense 2 for 8 months. My heart rate monitor only works after I restart the Fitbit . After a few hours it stops working again. I have to do this about 4-5 times a day. I have tried a factory reset a few times and it has the same issue.
how to I go about getting a replacement?

My New sense 2 is driving me mad. It shows floors climbed where I haven’t done any! I’d had a couple of days rest from it because I’ve begun to react to this strap now as well….so 0 activity….yet as it was charging it clocked up 929 steps and 19 floors ?? And it’s still on the old firmware. Will this new update fix this issue or do I just have a duff watch?

Since the update, my Sense 2 has been malfunctioning. I have to shut it down and restart it because it will quit measuring my heart rate and freeze. I had no issues before this update.
