Hello @mtwatch, welcome to the Fitbit Community!

I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience you've experience with your Sense 2, let me suggest some steps.

  • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve battery issues.
  • Check if any recent changes to settings or features might be affecting battery life.
  • Heavy use of features like GPS or always-on display can drain the battery faster.

For more help, please check out this article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? Please let me know if this works!

I also have a Sense 2 (US) which was working great (4-5 days battery life) until March 27 when it went to <1 day.  That's without using the GPS, only opening the app to sync and every battery saving 'trick' they recommend.  It's weird that it seems to have happened at the same time they released the new app (iOS) update that has had a ton of problems. My watch is still under warranty but they want me to send it back to them before they replace it which is completely unacceptable.

Same. Mine is less than a year old and used to hold for a long time. Now it’s just a couple of hours. (It got worse and worse).

Same. Now I am seeing a pattern for everyone. Not sure what’s going on but about to go

since the resent iOS update , my Sense 2 won’t sync properly. It’s fairly new. I’ve had Fitbits for over 10 years, have tried the usual fixes…

@EstuardoFitbit I appreciate that there’s a ‘process’ for returns, as inconvenient as it is.  I just wish there was something as robust to actually solve the problems that users are facing.  It’s interesting that after this last app update Sense 2 owners are having battery issues, new and older devices. Mine went from 4-5 days, even when I was GPS tracking 3 hour hikes, to < 24 hours overnight on March 27.  I’m choosing not to return the tracker at this time because I don’t believe I have a faulty device and a new one will have the same problem due to whatever app or firmware bug they introduced in 4.39/4.40 (iOS).

I’ve been a Fitbit user for > 10 yr and have paid for premium since available. Unfortunately, Google keeps pushing buggy updates under the misrepresentation of improving user experience. It took 6 months to get the lap/pace units (km vs mi) error corrected only to lose 10 years of water logs because they converted all of the history to ml from fl oz.  Not to mention that removing the 30/60/90 day rolling trends in the Health Metrics made data tracking meaningless.  You’d think they’d beta test and get feedback from users, but I guess the goal is to tank Fitbit and push everyone to Pixel.
