Sense 2 not syncing data anymore

Im utterly fed up with the sense 2 myself - im still on warranty and even got a replacement, but its made no difference.  basically, i cant get the bloody thing to simply sync - and my god ive tried every last option.  Im on a smart mobile, all linked - but now it just wont sync.  It hangs, tries, and cant do it.  I re-boot the fitbit, no luck.  I reboot the mobile, nothing.  THe only option sometimes, is i remove it from the fitbit app, and then connect again - sometimes works, but you lose all your data.  Maybe theres some hidden option that i keep missing?  But sometimes it works, but after 3 days no sync, i have to remove it and start again.

Anyone else getting this?  Or am i the only one!  thanks

Sometimes it works with the bluetooth/sync, sometime not.  Most of the time, not.  So utterly fed up with it.  Surely others have the same issue?  Or is there some magic trick that i keep missing?

Hi there, @Richard1977.

Thanks for letting me know about your Sense 2 and the steps that you've tried so far. I apologize for this inconvenience as this isn't the type of experience that we want our members to have. I went ahead and contacted our Support team and it seems you already have a case created. I'm happy that you're receiving assistance, and please make sure to keep an open communication with them.

Hello Lizzy

Can i ask, where the case is at?  I have requested to sort it out earlier, as i was within warranty.  I did get a replacement Sense 2 watch, but it was just exactly the same!  It just hungs there - Syncing your data... Im just about to give up, because i cant keep having to reboot, sometime 1 hour evening time, doing so.

Any suggestions Lizzy as im just about to give up, and buy a Apple/Garmin.  Just need to get the watch to recieve data, but at the moment, the system is basically done for?

Hi there, @Richard1977.

Let me share that I'm unable to access your case details to provide you with more information. However, I understand your concern and I appreciate you for clarifying that the issue is with your replacement. Given this situation, may I know if you have tried setting up your replacement watch to your account? If so, what error message do you see when trying this process?

While you have tried some steps, please give one more try to the following in the given order:

  1. Forget any Fitbit device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Check if the Fitbit app is updated.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Take all Bluetooth devices to another room aside from your phone and replacement Sense 2
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap Devices at the upper left corner.
  6. Tap Add More Devices > Sense 2 > Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Appreciate your support Lizzy.

There would be no extra case details.  I visited currys several weeks ago as thats where i bought it, they then contacted some guy on the phone at fitbit.  I told them my sync issue, so they send me off a new one.  Unfortunately that did nothing.

  • Check if the Fitbit app is updated. - YES update.  In the 2 years of purchase, theres only been one update anyway?
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone. - Done that so, so many times.  Does nothing im afraid.
  • Take all Bluetooth devices to another room aside from your phone and replacement Sense 2. - Not sure what you mean by the "replacement Sense 2". replace it from another phone?  My mobile is linked to the sense 2, yes indeed.  I dont have a spare mobile.....

The only way it does seem to re-link from sync to data, if i go into Devices, and select the "bin" icon.  This will wipe the connection totally.  BUT - this will remove all the information from the mobile!  So im fed up with doing that as well?  Just no point having this device if it just cant log on data?

Is this Sense 2 connection from watch to mobile just so messed up so bad, or just me? 😞

My mobile is Ulefone Note 16 Pro.  Ive had no issues with it at all from other apps etc.

I know what happened.

I found my old mobile, so switched it on and linked to sense 2.

This works again, syncing not a problem.

So new mobiles may just not work; and since the 2 years when ive had it, theres been ONE update.  I would say its a 50/50 chance with new smart mobiles if anyone wants to buy the current sense 2.  Be warned!
