Sense 2 not working shows red X

Hi Community,

I have been facing a weird issue in my Fitbit Sense 2 -
The watch is showing just the Fitbit logo and then disappear after few seconds. I tried following the steps I saw on different forums  - to press the button for 8-10 sec to restart the watch but I just saw the fitbit logo-> then a blue screen for few secs and then a red X sign and again watch goes blank.
My watch is just 3 months old. Please provide support to rectify this issue.

No guarantee, but continue holding in button until get back to regular screen. May be quite a bit longer than the 8-10 seconds, go through red X, fitbit logo, but keep button depressed until get back to home screen.  Has worked for me.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It didn't work for me

It’s not working for me either!!! I’m so frustrated it literally just stopped working!!! I have the Sense 2 and it’s the same issue. Red X or Line. The logo appears and disappears. It will turn on as soon as I put it on the charger and show a full charge then shut off as soon as it’s been removed.

Thanks guys for the response!

I spent a good amount of time on different forums and youtube videos and finally got the solution to rectify this issue. From different complaints on the forum, I can see that this issue is very very common in most of the Sense 2 smartwatches. I tried the exact steps mentioned in the below video and got my Sense 2 watch back working perfectly.

Do give it a try! Before start using these steps, just check if you have enough battery power (ideally should be >50%). You can keep your watch on charging for atleast 30 mins. Link: LOCKED FITBIT PROBLEM FIX! Forgotten Pin? Unlock or Hard Factory Reset Versa 3, 4, Sense, 2 Help! - ...

In case you didn't get success just following the steps mentioned in above video, I am sharing what exactly I did to get my watch back. You can follow these steps as well and give it another shot -
1) I unpaired Sense 2 from my phone bluetooth. 2) I removed Sense 2 watch from Fitbit app. 3) Charged Sense 2 to 75%. 4) Follow the steps mentioned in above youtube video. 5) Set up Sense 2 again on my phone.

I was in the same situation at the end of last year.
I am currently watching this video and working on recovery.
However, I have not yet found a solution.

Where is your post? I can't find it and this email does not bring me to it. When I go to reset my watch it asks for a 4 digit code on the watches display but the watch display is just black.Sent from my Galaxy

@Rocksifter

I am in the same situation as you.
Maybe the factory reset worked.
But after rebooting the screen is black...
When I hold the phone close, the Sence2 sync screen appears in the fitbit app.
So the reset is working.
But I can't do anything because the screen is black...
