Sense 2 return policy

Today I have packed up my Sense 2 to return it.

I love the watch, it's sleek and looks great. The heart rate tracking definitely improved over the 7 days I tested it for.

The new U I looks much better than before.

The reason I am sadly returning my Sense 2 is because there is no 3rd party app support (even music control and apps available on the original Sense) and I have heard from Colin from Cpnnect the Watts on YouTube that Fitbit confirmed that there are no plans to include 3rd party app support.

This is a complete deal breaker for me. What is the point in having a GPS watch with no music storage! Seriously in 2022! This is a basic requirement. Come on Fitbit, sort this out!

There's a lot of talk of dumbing down the Sense 2 and Versa 4 because of the imminent launch of the Google Pixel Watch.  If this is the case Google have made a massive mistake.

I try every 2 years to go back to Fitbit but it always ends up on me buying something else after a year so unless something changes I'm done with buying Fitbit products.

Thank goodness for the 45 day return policy!

It's probably a wise decision to return your Sense 2 at the moment.

Nevertheless, I raised a feature request to support 3rd party apps in https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Support-third-party-apps-and-clock-faces-and-Sen...

Please kindly vote for it if you are interested

Not sure about the music issue. The lack of third party apps I think is due to the newness of the device,. The sense 1 I had for 3 years. The sense 2 is just on the market. I would go by fitbit customer service compared to you tube rumors but that is just my opinion.

Fitbit has officially confirmed there are no plans for 3rd party app support.

My return was received a week ago and still no refund. I'm assuming they are getting mass returns..

I want to return my Sense 2 as well for the same reason. I did not buy it directly from Fitbit though I bought it from an electronics shop in person. Can I still return it?

Did you get your refund yet? I returned mine. Cause 2 reasons. One I felt scammed saying its a smart watch. But its more like a over expensive glorified step counter. 2 the biggest reason is it gave me 2nd degree burns on my wrist after 2 days of wearing it. I returned it but they havent given me a refund
