I turn the screen wake to button only but tapping it still turns is it on...is tapping it still supposed to turn it on? Or is it just supposed to come on with the button press only?

It's not stated clearly, but tapping is still supposed to turn screen on in either case.  The screen wake "button only" just prevents screen wake with wrist turn.

Thank you so much!!!! I asked 2 different fitbit reps if it's SUPPOSED to do this and both said no, then the second just sent me a return shipping label.

Thanks @MelissaSongstad for the feedback, just ignore the shipping label. I've taken the opportunity to mark @JohnnyRow response as best answer.
