Sense 2 text notification says Link sent

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Sense 2 for about a week.  I have an Motorola Razr and use Verizone Messages +.  My Sense receives texts but I cannot see them.  When I open the text I get an alert that says Link sent.  Where is this link sent to?  It isn't in my email.  Why can't I see my texts?  I've restarted the device.

The link should be sent to your phone. You can't see your texts because not all messages apps are supported. You can get texts from for example your phones standard message app, What's app

I recently bought a fitbit sense and I had the same issue.  It says link sent when I open a text or email.  I had a fitbit versa 2 where I was able to get a text and open it to read it further.  I wish I never got the fitbit sense.  It was such a waist of money and I was able to do more with my fitbit versa.

I don't understand how they can make products like this and sell them!  The description of the watch and the things it says online that it can do are misleading.  I'll keep it for a year since I spent all this money on it, and then get something better.

Same issue I had. To fix it I had to turn on the preview messages in my message settings on my phone, not the app. Now I am able to read messages and emails, no more link sent, and I'm able to reply. Hope this helps. I'm an android user, Galaxy S20.

I'll be sure to try this if Fitbit ever sends me back my sense 2!

I am having the same issue.  The options to answer the text is available, but I cannot open the text itself; thereby rendering the response option useless. For a $300 watch, this shouldn't be a problem. Help is needed and appreciated.

Hi @Jojo8488.

Thanks for joining this thread and for the details provided. Just to confirm, do you mean that you watch shows the error described in this thread instead of the actual notification? If that's correct, I'd recommend trying the steps shared by @fhue190 and monitoring your watch's behavior in the next few days to see how it goes.

I appreciate your response, but I was having other issues with my Sense, in addition to the texting one and needed to return it within a certain window of time and I did so;  I no longer own it.  I was disappointed since I feel Fitbit is the best for fitness watches, but this one didn't live up to my expectations.

Thanks again for answering me Lizzy.

Just purchased a Fitbit Sense 2, continually received the "Link Sent" message when I attempted to view my text messages.  I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a "support team" member, total waste of time, could've taken a nap.  I was about to box this thing up and send it back until I read your response. It worked!  Simple, yet genius, would've never ever thought of that, and the experts at Fitbit support didn't either.    Thank you so much!!!!
