Sleep not being recorded

I am about to return my Sense I have had about a week.   Being using Fitbit since 2014 and bought a Sense 2 when my old versa 2 finally died.   However this watch DOES NOT record any sleep information for me and I have tried having the sensor on the bottom of my arm.   Tried it tight two finger lengths away from wrist bone.   So over this and glad still in 30 days.   Was hoping for better.   Any advice before I give up?   Oh and I have unsynced and resynced factory restarted and actually 2nd one because the first one gave me a big red X and couldn't be fixed.

Have you contacted fitbit? Look in the top right of this page.

Mine did not work at first, but then I shaved the hair on my wrist.  I have very heavy hair on my forearms and it worked.
