Steps disappearing from fitbit

My steps keep disappearing from my Fitbit. This is the 3rd day in a row that I have hit my 10k goal and later a number of my steps simply disappear. My battery is at 90% 

this has been happening randomly for months. I thought I was crazy until I started taking photos so i have proof. I have reset my device. I am so frustrated!!!
