Every time I try to reply to a message with voice reply I get a message with transcription error. Started happening after Fitbit account was changed over to Google. There's already an open discussion in Versa 4 forum!! Seems like this is affecting a HUGE amount of devices. Google wallet also not working after account change over. Customer service has offered a refund for my watch which leads me to believe they have no idea when this is going to be fixed.
I LOVE the Google ecosystem. So please get this all fixed. I would hate to switch brands!

Hi everyone! Thank you for your messages and reports.
If you haven't done so, please update the Fitbit App to its current version.
This should solve the issue with the transcription error.
Go to the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) , search for Fitbit. You should get a button to update the app.
I would appreciate it if you could confirm here, if the update helps.

Have recently got a sense 2 and all appears to be working apart from using voice to reply to messages.
I've tried resetting things and the watch has been updated when it was first switched on.
Just keep getting the error listed below.

I have tried all the steps below with no improvement : I restarted my sense 2; I rebooted my phone after forgetting my sense 2, and clearing the cache. I also forgot my sense 2 and added it back as a new device. I think the issue is worn the new update that happened today. Since the, the microphone for voice replies to texts has not worked. I am still able to use the microphone for answering phone calls, just not for answering messages. I hope the folks at fitbit will fix this issue!
I get the same thing. I even unistalled the fitbit app, reinstalled it and still voice reply does not work. Body responses in the watch also shows no data.

I received my sense 2 on July 11, 2023. The text message voice reply is not working. I read the manual and it says that the watch has the capability to voice text respond. How do I fix this problem. I tried multiple thing that I read from this site, but it is not working. I have a I have a Google Pixel 6 (android version 13).
This seems to be a problem since my sense 2 updated this morning to its newest operating system. Before that my sense 2 worked fine with voice responses to text messages. I have a pixel 6 pro phone. I wonder how long it will be before enough folks identify it as a problem before fitbit addresses it....?

Best AnswerHmmm.. I tried signing out of my Google and then signing back in with my fitbit acct to check that out, but fitbit wouldn't allow me to sign back in, except with my Google acct. I think I used voice response to text after the merge and it worked okay, but now I'm not do sure. Maybe the Google acct IS the problem!
Best AnswerI've done all the steps it has said to do by restarting versa 2 and phone. Also uninstall the app and log out of Alexa etc.. still not working. Would like help to fix the problem or have the company fix it? Also I don't know how to switch to Google account?

Best AnswerThe link you used is for a versa 4. I have a versa 2. I have tried all the tips and tricks for it and nothing has worked yet. I'm waiting for a an update that I was told threw Fitbit help app was coming. Any updates on that?
