Every time I try to reply to a message with voice reply I get a message with transcription error. Started happening after Fitbit account was changed over to Google. There's already an open discussion in Versa 4 forum!! Seems like this is affecting a HUGE amount of devices. Google wallet also not working after account change over. Customer service has offered a refund for my watch which leads me to believe they have no idea when this is going to be fixed.
I LOVE the Google ecosystem. So please get this all fixed. I would hate to switch brands!

the same for me. It's something that I don't understand with Fitbit , if they know that they have a problem with the google account, what the hell they asked us to move from Fitbit account to google account . The same problem with the new firmware, if doesn't work properly, why they distributed it without a control !!!!

Hi everyone! Thank you for your messages and reports.
If you haven't done so, please update the Fitbit App to its current version.
This should solve the issue with the transcription error.
Go to the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) , search for Fitbit. You should get a button to update the app.
I would appreciate it if you could confirm here, if the update helps.

@kjbrunson I noticed a new version was released very recently for the Fitbit app (version 3.88).
Could you please confirm if you're still having the transcription error problem after you update your Fitbit app to the latest version?
If the issue persists, could you please describe what happens, or what you see?

To double check your version, go to settings on your phone, then open apps, then find fitbit and then scroll to the bottom of the screen. You can then affirm that you truly have version 3.88. That's how I determined that I did not have the latest version. Then I opened the play store and chose fitbit and updated it. You may well gave already done all that, but my reply might help someone else.

And you may also have to restart your watch(sense, versa, etc)
