Update button won’t press

There is a firmware update I need to install and I go through the whole process but when it gets to the end, the update button won’t press. I’ve restarted my Fitbit and phone multiple times.

I am so disgusted with their customer service. Having the same issues as everyone here and have tried everything. My inspire 3 is barely a year old and the best they can do is 35% discount.
NOT HAPPY

I’m in the same boat!! Inspire 3, did all the fixes, contacted customer service, zero help, won’t honor the warranty. I saw somewhere on here to give it a few days and try again? Like maybe the update isn’t ready or something. Fitbit needs to fix the issue instead of telling you to replace it. Longtime Fitbit customer is about be to lost!!
sorry you’re having the same issues!

I think it has something to do with data stored on your phone. I got mine working so I am not touching anything!
I think the first thing to do is “disconnect device” on the Fitbit app. Then uninstall the app and the user data. I also went into Bluetooth settings and clicked on forget device and then restarted the phone.
on the sense 2, swiped down and clicked settings, about sense 2, and then clicked factory reset.
after everything reboots, you should be able to re-install the Fitbit app, log it and then add the sense 2 via the app as if it was a new device. Once added, all data should be there.

Hi all,

Same issue whereby the fitbit charge 6 wants an update but the button within the fitbit app in the iphone does nothing. The screen just constantly says "sync from the fitbit mobile app" and flashes, then dies shortly after due to screen usage. Just thought Id share what I have done (and still to no avail). Also to note for people saying "factory reset from settings on the device" - I cant do this as the screen is unusable, it flashes between the attached images.

- disconnect from bluetooth/forget.

- uninstall from app then reboot

- (multiple variations of the above, by adding via app then bluetooth and vice versa)

- delete fitbit app, reboot phone, update all apps on iphone

- connected to a different iphone and downloaded fitbit on that phone

- connected to ANDROID phone and tried to update

- used the charging cable and the 3 second button - tried holding down the button to see if that would do anything after 30 seconds.

SO none of the above work so the fitbit is totally unusable and its ridiculoud this hasnt been fixed, my fitbit is only 3 months old and now im fairly sure il have to just go buy a new device. Has anyone had my same issue and resolved it by doing anything DIFFERENT to what ive said above?fb2.jpegfb3.jpegfb1.jpeg

I have the exact same thing happening to me right now. Charge 6, bought in March, stuck on the same screen. Had the same Apple Watch for 8 years before that. No idea what to do.

I cannot swipe up or down to click settings to get to factory reset.  Can you factory reset from the app?
