Fitbit isn't known for announcing upcoming updates in advance. When an update has been announced you should be able to find an official post on this forum and also information on the following page (here).

Hi @glick1 - are you hoping some issues you have will be fixed?

 

If you are in the window and if you are unhappy with the watch, Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

 

That way you can get a different watch which works.
