Adding or editing steps on my Sense (have an Android phone)

I added an exercise (walking) a couple of weeks ago, and my Sense calculated and added the steps to the data. I tried the same thing today, and it did not add in any steps.  How can I add steps to an exercise?  The Help information says to edit with the Pencil icon, but there is no pencil icon.

Hi, @gmachef, welcome, you may find this article helpful How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities? You should note that the ability to add steps is restricted as they are frequently the basis of competitions.
