Alarm app won’t open on Fitbit Sense

When I click on the alarm app icon on my fitbit it won’t load, the orange clock takes over the screen surface and than goes back to the menu. Can’t set alarms or see list. This was working fine until this week

Thank you @LizzyFitbit ! I contacted support and Efrain F was very helpful - I had to do a factory reset which ultimately solved it, but we tried a few things before that and those solutions didn't work. Best of luck to everyone else who has the same issue. I highly recommend contacting support though!

Hello @Barcmendez. Welcome to the community forums!

Thank you for the detailed information. If you haven't done so, I'd recommend performing a restart to your Sense by doing the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

Hi friend and thank you,
I tried restarting several times with no success. I am afraid my last
resort would have to be a factory reset. Any thoughts before I do that and
regret?

@Barcmendez Thank you very much for your reply.

I appreciate your help in following our instructions. Regarding your question, I'd like to let you know that instructions to perform a factory reset can be found here: How do I erase my Fitbit device?

But, before performing a factory reset, I recommend contacting our Support Team for further assistance. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone, but phone wait times are longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat. Click here to get connected.

See you around.

I'm having the same issue after doing a firmware update yesterday to my Sense. Now the Alarms app won't open on the Sense. I've restarted twice. No factory reset yet, looking at other options before this as a last resort.

Also, I noticed my Sense charger is still charging but one of the pins is damaged. I just bought this earlier this year...

I spoke with someone on Live Chat and they linked me to this guide (https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1868.htm#Fitbit2), which would have been helpful, except for me it doesn't show "Silent Alarms" as an option on the Fitbit app.

I'll probably just wear an analog watch until my replacement charger comes in, and then wait for another firmware update. My alarms are still working but one of them is 4:30 in the morning and I don't always need to be up that early...

Hi there, @DarkLumi.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and the steps tried on your own. Before anything else, let me clarify that with your Sense you can manage your alarms only on the Alarms app, as the option to do it on the Fitbit app is for older Fitbit devices. I'm sorry for any confusion this might have caused and because the Alarms app won't open, I'd recommend contacting our Support team so they can investigate what may be occurring. Please click here to get connected with them via chat or phone.
