Always-on doesn't work during exercise some times

Always-on setting for normal usage - Off

Always-on setting for exercise usage (specifically run) - On

 

However the screen still turns off after a few seconds during my run and I have to manually push the side button to turn the screen on. 

I noted that it worked fine once (screen on throughout) but the other times it turns off.

Please try again after restarting the watch and check the quick settings [swipe right] if the problem reoccurs.

I've only tested once after trying restarting the watch before my run. "Always-on" is working as expected this time. (Watch settings always on switched off, but exercise app always on switched on)

Will report back after a few more tries.
