I downloaded the newest firmware version and I would like to set up the Google assistant. Every time however I reach the "downloading device information" window, it results in a connection error.
I tried restarting, repairing, the usuals, but it is the same.

Best AnswerYou could be right. In this case this is terrible implementation and error handling on Fitbits side. There should be a message at the first steps of the setup "Sorry Google Assist is not yet available in your region.", or something similar. Not a connection error at the third step of the process.

Best AnswerI had the same problem on my Sense and was able to fix it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the Google app on my phone. I'm also based in the US
