Hello @jmgzh and welcome to the Community.  This site is a moderated user-to-user help site.  There is more information about this site here at the Community FAQ page.  Users who need technical support can get help at Support.  The Fitbit specific site is the Fitbit Blog.  There is no sales support here, just advice from other users.

I probably learned about this feature the same way you did, in my news feed from a site like 9to5google or cnet.  The announcement is so new that it isn't in the Fitbit Blog yet.  I'm sure more will get posted when Fitbit starts rolling out the new feature.  I hope this helps.

We will all know when "someone from the company" gives more information.

I would expect more it will be more of a general announcement, rather than a response to an individual question here.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

don't they have some people here from technical or sales support to help with some questions, like everybody else?

According to CNET Charge 5, Versa 3, Sense, Versa 2, Charge 4, Charge 3, Luxe, Inspire 2 and Versa Lite are all compatible with the algorithm which can point to signs of AFib. The algorithm works by passively assessing your heartbeat rhythm. You may realize the list is subject to change and results may vary yada yada yada.  Anything with a heartrate light should have worked.  That the list is short things like a charge 2 or charge hr is likely just a downlevel support stretch too far for those implementing this behind the scenes review of often questionable pulse data.  It only looks at times you are at rest ffrom fitbit support docs.

"they" whoever "they" are in this community is a collection of confused and somewhat less confused folks.  Moderators are not employees, I have been told, but sort of a formalized busybody club that is often quite useful because of the time they spend wandering around passing out "almost correct" answers.

Moderators (recognized by the Fitbit in the name) ARE Fitbit employees.
