My Sense is horribly inaccurate about counting floors. It gives WAY more than I have done. It gave me a floor count of 31 one day!! I don’t get it. It just started doing it. Now I’m questioning if any of it is accurate.

It's been a known issue for some time. I complained several times, and finally they gave me their "solution." Remove the floor count icon from your app so you don't see it. Huh.
Just happened to come across this. Just to share as well.
It is the same for me. On a normal day at work or at home, even when I do not climb floors, it would show me a floor count, most often in double digits like 20+. However, when I go stairclimbing and it would show me a single digit count like 5 floors for 15 minutes when I would have done 60 floors. My old Versa counted floor reasonably well.
Highlighted this issue to Fitbit and I was told to reset, reinstall,.. nothing worked. I did not bother to follow up after that. Just ignored the flour count readings.
If the floor count is not accurate, why doesn't Fitbit just take it off the watch altogether until it's fixed? It's a constant reminder of a feature that doesn't work!
@SunsetRunner It was removed from the Charge 5 and many, many people were upset and requested it back. Can't please everyone.
Best AnswerThanks. I also get way too many floors, every day. And it seems to escalate every month. 🫤Fitbit refuses to correct this, it seems. So I am switching to another clock all together now. Too bad, as I like the app.. But if you cannot trust the floors, chances are you cannot trust other datas as well.
