Distance calculations Km to Miles

In displaying distance percentages on my developed watch faces, when converting from Km to Mi, or back, the fitbit app takes the conversion and erroneously reports an a wrong number. Since this is a known issue, is Fitbit going to address this bug, or is there a workaround?
