Double logging of exercise work out via Fitbit Discover and exercise app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

From my experience, I get a double up of my workout exercise log if I use the exercise app in workout setting and I also log the exercise after completing the exercise in the Fitbit Discover section of the Premium app.

Is that other people’s experience.

Why would you manually log the workout after already recording it real-time?

Good question.  But one of the reasons, I was thinking at the time was to have a log of what types of workouts that were on offer. I naively presumed that a record of my workouts would appear somewhere. But I am yet to find that.

So the other question is why not have a feature in the Fitbit exercise workouts that warns you that the exercise app is already logging this exercise.

The Sense Exercise App does give you a choice of 20 different exercise types, suggesting 'Workout' for any not specifically listed.

And you can see record and summary of your workouts.  On phone app, tap the exercise tile, labelled 'track your exercise' or days of exercise. and as you scroll down, you can see al you exercise sessions; tap on any to see more details of it.
