ECG App on Sense doesn't work anymore

Dear,

my father's Fitbit Sense worked good for a half year. Since some weeks making an ECG does not work anymore.

 

When starting the ECG the app tells pit your fingers on he corner. This works once for just a few seconds (2 or 4), then the app says again put your fingers on the corners.

From now the app does nothing anymore. After reopen the app same. Restarting device same.

 

I've tried to clean the watch, factory defaults, now also new firmware, uninstall and reinstall the app. No changes.

Except now, the app does not remember (ask every time) for wearing watch left or right wrist.

 

This seems almost like a hardware issue.

Did anyone had same issue?

 

Other apps like timer or alarms remembers the settings

This may be a hardware issue.

Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you confirm it.

If it is diagnosed as faulty and you have the possibility to get a new replacement from where you bought it. do that.

If you get a replacement direct from Fitbit you run the risk of getting a refurbished one which might have other faults.
