EDA quick scan not working on Fitbit Sense

For the last several days my EDA scan does not work.

I go to the app, and hit quick scan,

I get the prompt to breath and relax and put my hand over the screen.

A few seconds after I cover the screen with my hand the watch vibrates and there is a message saying that “something went wrong” and to try again. When I try again I get a message saying still not working.

I tried removing the app and restarting my watch and then re-installing the app but I get the same problem. Everything else is working properly.

Any ideas anyone?

@SPGmd I hope you are doing fine.

Let me help you with your ECG app not working on your Fitbit Sense and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you clean the Sense with a damp cloth to remove any sweat or grease. After this please follow these instructions to repeat the test.

Let me know how it goes.

I clean the sensors after every workout. Your link takes me to an FAQ about the ECG app (there are no instructions to follow). My ECG app is working fine, it is the EDA scan that is not working.

thanks

So I owe a thank you. While I was wiping my fitbit down after workouts with a damp cloth apparently that was not clean enough. I wiped my fitbit down with some windex and now the EDA sensors are working again.

thanks

@SPGmd thank you for the update.

Really happy that you are getting EDA scans now with your device. Hope you are already back on tracker and reaching your fitness goals.

Happy stepping and stay safe.

Mine works but says my HRV is undetectable. Haven't gotten a result yet. On latest update too. Even done a factory reset.
