As a member of Fitbit Premium service I was offered "early access" to the Sense (and/or Versa 3). Indeed, the message reads:

 

"Premium member exclusive: Pre-order now and get yours before everyone else."

 

It includes the following directions (actual code removed):

 

1. Add Sense, Versa 3 or Inspire 2 to your cart.
2. At checkout, add code xxxxxxxxx
3. Choose overnight shipping—your shipping discount will appear in your cart.

 

BUT, when you follow these directions and verity "Overnight - 1 business day" in the cart before placing the order... it comes back with "Thanks! Your order has been placed" and shipping has reverted to "Standard - 5 to 7 business days"

 

What gives?? It makes no sense.

I used the same premium member code, and it retained the overnight shipping in the final order confirmation. I would definitely recommend contacting support.

I have the same problem and called them yesterday. They literally told me they couldn't help me, that I would have to call back on the 25th when orders ship. So much for early access. I have half a mind to cancel my order with Fitbit and order it on Amazon. At least then I would get free prime shipping!

I am a premium member and didn't get early access. Thats not fair that they offer it to some members and not all.

@DaughterofMaat - The Fitbit Store offers free shipping on all orders of $50 or more. Your order qualifies.

It's not free shipping I'm complaining about. The code gives me free OVERNIGHT shipping that I didn't get and Fitbit says they can't fix it till the item is in stock which I personally think is BS.

I didn't get offered anything by email either for being a premium member.  I ordered the Sense on 8/25 as I wasn't aware of any codes.  I did add the premium shipping to my order.

The code only assured that premium shipping was reverted to standard (free) shipping... which is free anyway. The ordering site seems pretty well broken and Support can do NOTHING. Oh, they opened a case #, but that's pretty useless b/c there is no resolution.
