Hey Everyone!

I'm a long-time Fitbit user and recently upgraded my Versa 2 to a Sense, but I'm running into a few issues completing the setup. The issue for this thread: Weather app setup.

When I try to pull up the weather app in the watch, I get the error message "No location information.  Go to the Fitbit mobile app to set up weather."  Here is what I've done to set it up so far.

1.  I click on the "Sense" device.

2. I click on "Gallery".

3. I scroll down and click on "Weather".

4. I click on "Permissions".

5.  I enabled everything.

6.  I go back to "Settings" and set up some locations.

...and that's it.  I've synced the device to my phone.  I've restarted the Sense.  I've restarted my phone.  I've synced again.  But every time I try to pull up the weather on the watch, I get the "No location information" error.

What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Thanks for being awesome!

Hi @Phade  - remove the cities and use current location, then sync again to fix it.

Hi @Phade,

Have you tried restarting the Sense?  All you would need to do is hold your finger over the left sensor for 10 seconds and release.  It will show you the Fitbit logo once the reboot process is complete.

I suspect this has something to do with a bug that's in the watch that's preventing you from seeing the weather.

Yes, I've restarted the Sense twice since confirming all permissions are enabled (restarted Sense, restarted phone, restarted Sense again), but still no luck.  I have used the Sense on a bike ride and it successfully tracked my route, so the GPS portion is working.

I cleared chosen city locations and it now pulls up the weather for my current location.  Yay!!  But when I add cities, it breaks again.  Drat...  The cities were listed on the city search results drop-down and I choose then there.  What would cause known cities to break all the weather results?

I think you misspelled "feature".  LOL.

I still can't put in any specific city. If I do, it crashes the app. 😞

Hi @VickiHR  - it may not work if you put in cities anyway.
