Find my phone doesn't work on Sense

I was out with my dogs today when one of them caught a baby deer. While I was busy saving it my phone fell out of my pocket. We have combed the area.

@petrabuchanan It may be that your phone is not within Bluetooth range of your Sense, so it's not responding to Find My Phone. Can you have someone else call your phone while you're in the area where you think you dropped it? It might be easier to track it down that way. Good luck!

You can use the little indicator on the top of your watch face when it comes on to see whether in bluetooth range. However, this feature is more for finding it when hidden under a cushion at home then to find a phone outside easy bluetooth range. Better to use the phone "find my phone" facilities that report GPS location to your provider. Available on many phone types.

I think it's something else. It hasn't been working in my house lately. I feel like when I had it warrantied, I didn't connect it properly. If so, it's too late right?

If the bluetooth connection wasnt working, then neither does notifications, nor synching with the fitbit app etc. To my mind, the watch "find my phone" is great inside within bluetooth range. The GPS tracking tool on the phone is useless in that environment. Outside - the phone's "Find my phone" GPS tracking is what you need. I'd assume that you are going to need a new phone. Make sure that GPS phonefinder setup is done immediately when you get your next one.
