Maybe after the acquisition by Google is finally approved and completed and the OS rewritten to link to Google assistant.
Best AnswerFitbit announced it would come later this year along with ECG. They've since announced the ECG feature will be coming in Mid October, so we'll see if Google Assistant and the ability to take calls using the speaker and mic on the sense also arrives with ECG or if that will be a subsequent firmware update before the holidays.
Best Answeryeah i got the fitbit sense and am a little underwhelmed. you cant check your SPO2 without sleeping with the specific facewatch. even change the face watch is a pain the on device switcher never works as well as the phone app constantly says "switching". launching apps takes a good 10 seconds to load. no ECG, no google assistant.
im thinking of returning it and just waiting for the next google fitbit when they release one cause i have a feeling the sense is going to be obsolete and pretty much unsupported in terms of new features once that deal closes
Google assistant was officially announced that it is coming later this year, along with ability to answer calls from your sense using the mic and speaker on the sense rather then just answering for your phone like it does now. This has nothing to do with the pending Google acquisition. We're going to get this whether the acquisition with Google goes through or not, and we'll get it later this year. Only uncertain is what date as they haven't firmly committed to a specific date yet.
Best Answerskin temperature feature is already there, please check watch manual.
