Fitbit Sense Charge

I absolutely love my Sense and have had it for over a year. All of a sudden it won't hold a charge. At 9 a.m. it was 100% and by 7 p.m. it was 5%. I use it for a watch, and step counter, track my heart rate, and don't have anything else programmed. I clean the contacts, it has never gotten wet, never been abused in any way and I do not stream anything whatsoever. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi @LindyB123  - that sort of usage during the day could be due to the GPS being on or incessant syncing.

Try Shutdown from the watch Settings menu, wait at least 10 seconds for it to complete before placing it on the charge cable to restart and charge it.

Just adding on to what @Guy_ mentioned, if you have it connected to your BT in any way, it could cause the battery to drain on both your phone and the device.

Thank you. I do not have it connected to BT. It is very strange. I managed to cancel everything and start over with the app and it is currently working okay and has decreased 13% in 5 hours. A huge improvement.

@LindyB123  - thanks for the feedback, it looks like it was an app or syncing issue if you uninstalled and reinstalled the App and that you now have a more normal usage. Target for around 16-20% usage per day without Snore detection or any SpO2. In that case it probably will use less at nigh, especially with a Sleep schedule.

You may want to address usage issues if you want a long battery life so check How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.
