Hello,
I recently upgraded from a blaze to a sense and I am having issues with new device.
1.) it keep counting way too many stairs
2.) it keeps double counting workouts and when I delete duplicate it messes with stats (I.e. I’ll run 1 mile - will show up twice with different totals and stats. I’ll delete duplicate then it shows .4 miles)
3.) I keep getting my 250 hourly steps and then when I sync with my phone the hours disappear
I have read some forum responses and reset a few times but issues persist.
Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.
thank you,

Did you remove the Blaze from your account?
Restart both watch and phone and resync the Sense only.
Also
In Android phone Settings * Apps Fitbit Storage - clear cache [not data] Force Fitbit shutdown [though it doesn't seem to fully] Log back in to the Fitbit app
*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones] |
Or for IOS uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, and redo notification setup. |

There is nothing wrong with having the Blaze and Sense connected but you do not want to use both models at the same time.
Usually a double recording is because the user has their fitbit app connected with a third party app and has started the run recording with both apps.

The blaze has been long sense removed from my account. The problem is I start the workout on my phone as I like to hear the distance cues in my headphones. Then since my phone is tracking workout and phone auto identified I am working out it counts 2 workouts. When I delete one it messes with the stats if other.
I have reset my watch, re-downloaded Fitbit app, re-synchromesh with no luck.

Hello - I have completely deleted blaze a while ago. And I do not have 3rd party apps.
thank you for insight. I have simply begun running without watch and only using phone app as the running cues and distance have the most value to me.
