My experience with Fitbit Sense: Bought new Fitbit sense during last thanksgiving, getting 2-3 days of battery life, and drops by 10% whenever I snyced to the phone. When contacted customer support, they offered replacement. I sent my Sense back and it took 30+ days to get replacement. Lost my opportunity to return within 45 days to get full refund.
Replacement Sense pebble is a refurbished/re-certified one as per warranty rules. This refurbished item gave 3 days of battery life if I just use it for step counter and sleep tracking, and after two months of use battery back up fell down to 2 days. As per the suggestion from support, we should not use SpO2, Snore tracking, Always on Display. I was not using anything except Snore tracking and was working mostly at home. Battery performance went down rapidly.
Not worth the price paid. You can decide what you want to do based on my experience.

Hi there, @smoran and @nk777.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with your Sense. Every feedback posted in the forums never goes unnoticed as it helps us to evaluate and improve our devices. Your comments are appreciated and they won't be the exception.
In regards to your inquiry, as other electronic devices, certain features specially if they're frequently used will impact the battery life. If you're using GPS, SpO2 or Snore Detect, you may have to charge your tracker more often since they'll be active to track this data. You can find more details about what features affect the battery of your Fitbit device here.
In case the issue persists even after turning off Snore Detect, I'd recommend contacting our Support team so they can investigate what may be occurring and provide you with assistance. They're available via chat and phone, just click here to get connected with them.
@nk777 Because you already have a case created, my best advice is to keep an open communication with our team so they can provide you with more details about your case and their resolution.

@LizzyFitbitthe point of contention is that Sense, is not performing as it is advertised. Even in the article it is mentioned Sense gives 6+ days of battery back up, but I never got 6+ days (only using it as step counter and sleep tracker). You can check the my Fitbit records synced to my account.
Answers from customer support is copy paste of standard answers, and never actually acknowledged/resolved the problems I reported. And the warranty terms are devious (why should I be penalized getting a refurbished device, when the actual device is defective and I paid full advertised price for new item in the first place)?
Very disappointed with Fitbit, warranty rules and the customer support ecosystem.

here are some features responsible for draining the battery. Search on how to disable the features you don’t use. I did and get 5 days of battery with on wrist calls, outlook, email, and texting. That’s well within the parameters advertised. I don’t know what you’re doing but I found it more productive to disable features I do not want than complain about the failure to obtain 6 days.

Some clock faces are not well designed to conserve battery. They didn't even stop reading sensors when screen off. Try these clock faces: https://f2.asc.hk.

I use SimpleClockPro and get 5 days. I additionally use the water consumption reminder/tracker feature.
it helps me stay hydrated.

Hi there, @nk777. @Clove6060 and @deiG Thanks for stopping by and sharing those great suggestions!
@nk777 I understand where you're coming from and appreciate your feedback about the Sense, as well as your interaction with our Support team. Our team strives to improve our devices and services, and the input we receive from our members is a big part of the process. Please know your comments haven't gone unnoticed.
As mentioned before as well as by our friends, the battery life of your Sense depends on how frequent certain features are used. The same happens with other electronic devices such as phones and tablets. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't use any feature, but just to take them into consideration and turn any feature you're not using. Please take a look at the tips shared in this thread and if the issue persists, you can always contact our Support team and share every step tried so far. That way they can investigate and help you with this matter.
In regards to your other inquiry, let me explain that depending on the available inventory, you might receive a factory-certified refurbished product as a replacement as stated in our Warranty Policy. These products are tested and determined to work like new, with minimal wear and tear. I understand your concern about this and while I don't have access to your case, my best advice is to keep an open communication with our team so they can provide you with further information.

This is my exact beef with Fitbit!
As advertised on their website, the sense battery life should last 6+ days. It does last that long with minimum features on for the for about a month or so, then it just drops to 4 days and eventually to 3.
I am on my 3rd replacement and I just had a very unpleasant exchange with customer service - the first one ever, to request a 4th replacement.
I am incensed over this! Change the number of battery days on your website or sell a product that matches it!

My device battery is draining every 2 days vs usual 7 odd days earlier and device has been just 2 month old. Any options?

Hello,
I purchased Fitbit sense advance back in January 24, 2022.
On May 5th the smartwatch went dead and it would not charge. I followed every possible troubleshooting to try to fix the issue without success. Two weeks later I decided to give it another try and I was able to charge the watch, however it would not register my health metrics, heart rate, etc. On top of that, the battery would go from 100% to 0% in less than 24 hours.
There is definitely an issue with this model in I really hope something to fix this issue is being done. One of the main reasons I purchased this model was the 6 days battery life. I totally understand that using certain features will short the battery life, but drained in less than 24 hours? That is unacceptable.
As customers that paid a lot of money for this product, we expect Fitbit to find a fix for this issue.
Thanks.

To the moderator......
Thank you for the suggestions in troubleshooting the causes for battery drain. Here's my issue.....
For almost a year, I've been getting up to four days usage on a single charge. Yesterday, my Sense ran out of power after less than a day. Charged it up from zero to 100%. Lost that entire charge in less than 12 hours. No changes to nor tracking features added by me to my device. Any suggeestions?

I have exactly the same problem and it started the same day as you. Used to get 3.5 days charge, now less than 12h unless I turn off Bluetooth on my phone, then watch lasts a day. I made no changes to my settings so no idea why the battery suddenly started draining so fast. I'm getting pretty fed up with Fitbit, too many problems.

I had that issue too - in February 2022. If you're within the 1 year warranty - contact Customer Service ASAP for a replacement. They'll make you do all this troubleshooting, but I would do it before your 1 year warranty expires.
Mine lasted at least 3-4 days on a full charge, NO changes to any of the settings except a firmware update one night and the next day it didn't even last the whole day. I blamed the update, but after reading a lot of these issues in the forum, sounds like it may just be a Sense issue where at some point the tracker just stops working. Unacceptable in my opinion for such an expensive product. If I had known that a $330USD product would last me less than a year and a half, I would not have bought it.

If you are still using default "Spectrum" watch face, try changing it to some other highest rated clock faces and observe. I noticed an improvement in battery backup. However I do not understand how a clock face is the cause of battery draining, even if I do not have always on mode (this one is failure from Fitbit's part). Also agree with fast battery degradation overtime on Fitbit Sense, especially for its price point and a premium offering.
